technology, and now offer expanded design possibilities and a sleek, modern aesthetic for shower spaces. The new horizontal KERDI-BOARD-SNLT niches come in two versatile sizes: 20″ x 12″ and 28″ x 12″.
These sizes join the existing vertical options, providing greater flexibility for creating custom shower designs. With their warm, evenly diffused LED lighting and seamless integration into the Schluter®-Shower System, the horizontal niches elevate both
functionality and ambiance in any bathroom. Additionally, the niches meet code compliance standards for both the Canadian Electrical Code (CEC) and National Electrical Code (NEC), ensuring safe and reliable operation.
Each horizontal niche kit includes essential installation components, such as a KERDI-BAND frame, screws, and washers, ensuring a straightforward and reliable setup. The niches are designed to fully integrate with the Schluter®-Shower System, maintaining the integrity of the shower assembly while adding a sophisticated lighting feature. KERDI-BOARD-SNLT niches feature a mounting profile and a LIPROTEC LED light strip that inserts directly into the profile and can be installed in either a center or rear position at the top of the niche. In addition to the two new horizontal designs, there are also three vertical designs, so that there’s a niche for every application.
