Cantoria (Almeria, Spain), April 9, 2025Cosentino Board of Directors has appointed Pilar Cosentino (46 years old) as the company’s new CEO as part of the succession plan, adhering to the best governance practices. This appointment, which will be effective from April 14, is part of a strategy plan that guarantees an orderly generational change. Francisco Martínez-Cosentino (73 years old), currently Chairman and CEO, will continue serving as Chairman of the company, thus consolidating a governance model that establishes a separation between the functions of Chairman and CEO, and combining experience and youth.

Since joining Cosentino more than 20 years ago, Pilar has played a key role in the company transformation, which currently operates in more than 35 countries and employs 6,000 people worldwide. Throughout her career at Cosentino, she has led the Strategy, Talent Management, Digital Transformation, and IT areas. She holds a degree in Law and Corporate Legal Consulting from the Universidad Pontificia Comillas (ICADE) and MBA from Instituto de Empresa Business School. Pilar has received numerous awards as manager and executive.

Additionally, the company strengthens its internationalization and business focus with the appointment of Eduardo Cosentino (42 years old) as the sole Executive Vice President (EVP). Eduardo assumes the areas of Marketing & Digital Business, Expansion and Pricing as part of his global business responsibilities, in addition to continuing serving as CEO of Cosentino Americas. Aside from his leadership at Cosentino since arriving in the US 15 years ago, Eduardo has contributed to the progress of the industry in his role as Board Chairman of the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA), the largest North American organization in the sector with 60,000 members, in addition to promoting bilateral trade relations between Spain and the US in his position as Vice President of the Spain-US Chamber of Commerce.

Álvaro de la Haza becomes Chief Corporate Officer, reporting to the Chairman, a role that he will combine with the Family Office management.

Management Changes

In addition to these changes, Cosentino is taking a further step in its governance with the creation of a Management Committee that will act as a coordinating body for management, supporting the CEO executive functions. The Management Committee will be composed of 10 members: Francisco, Pilar, Eduardo, and Álvaro, as well as the Global Vice Presidents responsible for Supply Chain (Julio Martín); Manufacturing (Alberto Quevedo); R&D, Product and Quality (Valentín Tijeras); EMEA Sales (Pedro Parra), Finance (Julian Edwards), and People (Paco Robles).

Finally, the 22-member Executive Committee will continue to be key in driving the company’s transformation, leveraging competitive advantages based on innovation and new technologies, with a special focus on AI.

With these changes, Cosentino takes a decisive step in its organizational structure, combining the experience accumulated over decades with new leadership for the future. Likewise, the family’s expertise is combined with a large group of independent professionals with extensive industry knowledge. The company also reaffirms its commitment to continuous improvement, and growing solidly and responsibly.
