Daltile designer highlights green hues on Saint Patrick’s Day

Dallas, TX – March 17, 2025 – On Saint Patrick’s Day, Daltile’s director of product design is having some fun recognizing the color of the holiday by highlighting a few of her favorite green hued offerings within the Daltile line.

“The presence of the color green in interior design has been on the rise for the past several years, and it has definitely established itself as an ever-present design element that is here to stay,” said Laura Grilli, director of product design for Dal-Tile LLC. “Green is a lovely and very versatile color. There are almost as many different expressions of green as there are different personal design styles. Some of this year’s most popular interior design trends feature beautiful and varied uses of green in their color palettes.”

“In our Daltile Trend Report this year, we nod to the biophilic design that is an important component of the popular interior design trend we call Earthbound Serenity,” said Grilli. “Two of my favorite Daltile products that exemplify the relaxing and nature-inspired greens of this trend are our Artcrafted, Aloe and Mythology, Chronos. On the opposite end of the interior design spectrum, we also included this year’s trend of glamorous decadence that we call Refined Indulgence in our report. The Emerald Green found in our STARE Fyre collection; Remedy, Herbal; and Amazonite from our ONE Quartz assortment all nicely add to the Refined Indulgence trend, infusing luxury into a space. Daltile’s Sovran, Triangle and Sovran, Weave are additional sumptuous tile designs that nicely use
green to add richness and artistry to a space.

“Another of this year’s interior design trends, Vintage Revival, boasts an unsaturated color palette, and Daltile’s Mesmerist, Allure; RetroSpace Remix, Succulent Green; and Stencil, Mint all embody the comfortable artistry and handcrafting that is a hallmark of this design trend,” Grilli added. “On St. Patrick’s Day, I also definitely want to highlight a lively green, Daltile’s Natural Hues, Kiwi which fits nicely into this year’s Color Craze interior design trend — If you need a pop of fun in a space, this color green is for you!”

“The final trend we highlight in our Daltile Trend Report this year is Rugged Minimalism, and even the predominately grey-scale palette of this industrial-chic design movement can be enhanced through the incorporation of one of our new green-tinted Iridescent Isles tiles, either Seaweed or Treasure. Both options add a bit of softness and interest to the space through their Raku-firing and brutalist inspiration.

“Even if you are not Irish, you may find a ‘bit of luck’ by incorporating some green into your designs today!” concluded Grilli.
