PROFILITEC DEBUTS CHIC LINE OF wall tile SURFACE FINISHES

PROFILITEC, Italian producer of state-of-the-art floor profiles and related installation solutions, has introduced a full line of embossed surface finishes for ceramic tile wall coverings called THE WALL MODERN LINE.

In step with the latest trends, Profilitec has designed THE WALL MODERN LINE to match ceramic, cementine, concrete and stone effect tiles. The profiles, opaque and tactile infuse a retro look with industrial style, creating a very modern motif. Profilitec’s new collection offers fast application, economical solutions… and, lasting performance.

THE WALL MODERN LINE is available in a wide variety of colors, ranging from warm to cool shades: Matte Black, Micaceous Grey, Dark Brown, Corten, Dove Grey, Khaki, Rusty White, Pastel Grey, and Cement Grey. Aluminum, brass, stainless steel and non-toxic synthetic materials with over 30 different types of trim finishes enable the user to coordinate with tile colors and grout and to create a decorative contrast. They can be used to join, protect or simply decorate.

Greg Gelston, President of Profilitec stated, “Shabby Chic is making a comeback after first appearing on the design scene more than 25 years ago. Our new line has an industrial style, which has morphed into Industrial Chic.”

The unique, embossed texture contributes to the profiles’ high abrasion, impact resistance and provides an anti-glare surface due to reduced sunlight reflection.

The application of these “chic” profiles over the sharp corners is a true safeguarding measure, especially to prevent single firing ceramic tiles from chipping. The time-saving factor for installing this product is quite relevant when one can avoid the 45° corner cut. The profile will also help the layer for the line-up and the straight vertical edge.

“There are also numerous solutions for internal corners, making them easy to clean,” continued Gelston, “Such features were initially implemented by the current European hygiene and safety standards.”  For more information, visit profilitec.com.
